Project HOPE offers FREE and confidential HIV and STI testing. Your test session will last about a half hour. During that time you'll chat with one of the Project HOPE testing counselors to come up with ideas that work for you to reduce your risk.
Test Together: Getting an HIV test can be difficult, if not downright scary — and telling your partner the results can be even more difficult.
Testing Together provides an opportunity for you and your partner to have your HIV test together and get your test results together, with a trained counselor present to help you talk about the results. Testing and receiving your results together can start an ongoing healthy conversation between you and your partner about HIV in your relationship, and allow you to talk openly about building a protection plan together.
Walk-in hours for free HIV/STI testing at our Albany office are Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30AM - 12PM and 1PM - 4PM, as well as Tuesdays from 3PM - 7PM; Schenectady walk-in testing hours are Wednesdays from 10AM - 3PM.
