Project HOPE offers FREE and confidential HIV and STI testing. Your test session will last about a half hour. During that time you'll chat with one of the Project HOPE testing counselors to come up with ideas that work for you to reduce your risk.
Walk-in testing hours are from 9:30am-12pm and 1pm-4pm every Mon, Tues and Thurs (NO TESTING 12PM-1PM.)
You can also schedule an appointment to get tested. To schedule your appointment call 518.434.4686.
Test Together: Getting an HIV test can be difficult, if not downright scary — and telling your partner the results can be even more difficult.
Testing Together provides an opportunity for you and your partner to have your HIV test together and get your test results together, with a trained counselor present to help you talk about the results. Testing and receiving your results together can start an ongoing healthy conversation between you and your partner about HIV in your relationship, and allow you to talk openly about building a protection plan together.
Project HOPE's testing and screening include:
HIV- The rapid HIV test is a quick finger prick with results in about 30 mins.
Gonorrhea & chlamydia screening- An easy urine test. Pee in a cup and you will get your results in a week.
Hepatitis C- A quick finger stick test. If you're already testing for HIV, we can use the same sample to run both tests and you get your results in the same session.
Syphilis- A simple blood draw by one of our certified phlebotomists and you get your result in a week.
Visit our testing calendar to find other testing times and locations.
